Nancy wandelt 6 km voor water (Stop Seks Voor water)!

On January 5th I will participate in Walking for Water: 6 KM Catwalk! I will take action by walking 6 km (= 15 laps of the Olympic Stadium) in heels and have my efforts sponsored for the benefit of Simavi's water projects. Women and girls are central to this.

Did you know that 1 in 3 people worldwide still do not have access to drinking water? Girls and women in particular suffer from this, because they are responsible for the water in the family. Because of all the time they spend fetching water, they cannot go to school, cannot work and are at risk of sextortion, for example. Working on water means working on equality for women!
